New Year 2010 brought on another different photography venture for me – high school basketball at the Damatha vs Paul VI game January 15th in nearby Fairfax VA
The powerful Hoops USA National School and Washington Post Metropolitan #1 ranked high school basketball team, Damatha team beat an up and coming sophomore and junior loaded Paul VI team, 70 -54 in that contest.
Except for a lot of missed close in shots, the young Paul VI hoopsters matched up with the mighty local power for much of the game. If they had their shooting eyes, they may have pulled off another upset liketheir last week’s win over another tough nationally and locally ranked rival, Good Counsel.
